anyone ever uses a transistorized regulator like this? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

i believe they were mostly used on cars with transistor ignition. Thay are in the truck manuals and so is transisterized ignition but they were probably just there for info and dealer use purposes. never seen either on a truck. i am putting one on my truck not claiming it to be facort by any means. I was wondering if any one of you have had these on a car you might have had and if it needs to be grounded to work?
