Found out today I once owned a 47 AD

I was going through an envelope that has some trim for another member. Noticed it was an Oregon DMV license plate envelope from 1969. Looked inside and found a temporary registration for my Dads 47 truck whick I was driving a lot at the time transfered to my name. I don't remember doing it but suspect he sold it to me for a couple of bucks so I would have it on my insurance and not affect his. Good old stock truck, took many fishing trips to the hills and drug old school Briggs and Stranton dune carts over to the coast. One time got in a rain storm with a girl friend who did not appreciate hanging out the window using a coat hanger to supplement the vacuum wipers going up long hills. I thought is was pretty funny and a good excuse to get naked to dry out later on.....ahh to be 18 again.
