For $5000, I would want to find a truck in nicer shape. However you maybe able to haggle the seller down to $4000?

Pickups in former USSR countries is extremly rare vihicle. First, and I think, main reason, that in the USSR they didn't have private farms or smth like this. Everything was common, collective and they didn't need a small trucks.
Pickups, as I understand, is an american invention, and it's yours marks "1/2, 3/4 ton" - we don't have any specification here, only trucks' carring capacity.
The ONLY real pickup was produced from 1939. GAZ M415, but anyway it was on FORD Model B base. USA was allways pioneer in car-manufacturing, so it's should be surprice.
