383 LS dyno test

Finished a 383 LS series engine last week and dynoed it .. The customer wanted 500hp ,which is really plenty for the street being that the customer has never had more than 300hp..

Here is how the build was..
GM #243 heads cnc ported from Wegner automotive (nascar west series motor)
11.3 comp.. Diamond Flat top pistons
224@.050 intake 234 @ .050 exhaust .588 lift straight accross
Scat 4" stroke crank
Scat 6.125 H beam rods
stock 5.7 aluminum block
stock LS6 intake
stock throttle body
accell injectors
stock rockers
beahive springs

516hp @6000 503 ftlbs torque...

It was pulling 1.0 vaccum on the top end so it could use a bigger intake / throttle body and pick up some more....
