2.5 broken Head bolt

Hey Guys,

I am the proud new owner of a 1986 s10 2.5,

I bought the car for 600 cash-- good deal it was an old mans truck with 149km on it, with a no mods, and in really good shape EXCEPT.....

There is a broken head bolt, looks like it will be easy to pull out once the head is removed.... bur I want to hear you all chime in with your advice--

Does this happen often with the 2.5?

Should I rebuild the head or just change the gasket and put a fresh bolt in.....

Any thoughts or opinions are very welcome,

thanks for the advice in advance....

Jon
