The starter works. I installed the plugs and hooked up a fuel can to the pump and the pump works. Then I tightened the fuel line at the carb and attempted to start it. I was by myself and attempted 3 times. It didn't hit. Got out and looked at the carb and there was fuel all over the carb and intake. I'm guessing the float is stuck and it was coming out of the over flow. I thought about jumping the solenoid so I could watch it, but the fumes were too strong. I really didn't want a spark.

It looks like the top plate will come off the carb. I will do it on the bench so i don't drop anything. That will be my next step to see what the inside looks like.
