MPG question

I searched the site a little bit and found some pretty good info, but I still want to ask. What MPG should I exspect to be getting. And what can I do to improve.
Truck is 86 SWB stock 305, 350, 3.08 gear, 255/60/15 rear tiers and lowered. Has stock manifolds and cat into a flowmaster dual outlet muffler.
Carb is Q jet, I drive 30 miles a day comb of city and Hwy, I believe I.m getting 9 miles to the gallon.

Thanks
