67-72 Ram Horns on a 79?

Ok, so I've searched and searched, but haven't been able to find a definitive answer.

I've currently got leaky headers on my 79. It's got a crate 350/400. Tired of ripping my hair out over these headers, so I've been looking at the stock ram horns from the 67-72 pickups. I've read that the Corvette ram horns, with the straight down 2.5 inch outlets, can be a pain to fit on our trucks, but what about the truck versions? Both the pass. and driver side are angled back, so I don't see what the problem would be.

Has anyone done this? Thanks!
