SBC or BBC for 1st build?
I mentioned that I have and plan to put a 454/TH400 in my '59. Many people that I've talked with (not here) suggest I go with a small block, especially since this is my first build. Reasons being are steering box/header clearance issues as well as cooling and weight considerations. I planned on keeping front and rear suspension stock as is.
What do y'all suggest for this newbie and why? Last edited by 1959 Apache 3600; 11-15-2011 at 09:05 AM. Reason: spelling |
