ceramic pads, your opinion?

so about two months ago i spent money on some nice top of the shelf o'riely ceramic pads for my truck

the no brake dust on my tt2's is nice but,

it seems like during the summer if the pads got just a little to hot they fade damn quick and smell pretty bad when you brake hard then stop and get out

now during the winter they work great anybody else think ceramics are a bunch of ? or is just me expecting to much for consistan pads?

i have half vacuume from a big cam but even so when your driving there is enough to make full functioning brakes
