Need help to identify old cab

My father-in-law recently bought a piece of property which has what appears to be an early 60s Chevy truck cab sitting on the ground. The property is a good 2.5 hour drive away. We will be making the trip this weekend to take pictures.

I know nothing about old trucks and was wondering, when i go to take pictures, is there anything i should be sure to look for and get pictures of that would help identify it. Also is there anything specific i should be sure to take pictures of in order to find out what it's worth and eventually salvage it if it's actually worth something.

Additional info... It is just the cab with front fenders and grille. There is no hood. The cab has both doors and all the windows and the dash looks like it is in fair condition. Pictures will be posted Sunday.

So just to be clear i want to know if there's anything specific i should get pics of because it's a bit of a long trip and i won't be going back for awhile and i want to make sure i get all the pics i need the first time. Thanks for any help.
