67 Stepside added to the Collection
Just picked up this 67 last week. I have wanted a 67 small window truck for a long time. It has been off the road for 8 plus years. It was stored in a warehouse for the last 5 years, but I'm sure it has spent many years outside. This week I took out the plugs cleaned them and sprayed marvel mystery oil in the cylinders. I also had to replace the ignition switch as I had no keys. Today I changed the oil, hooked a fuel line to a gas can, sprayed some starting fluid in the carb and she fired right up. I could only keep it running on starting fluid. It appears the fuel pump is not working. I know a lot of people love to modify their trucks, but it is gratifing to get an old stock one running again. I'm just not sure if I want to sink money into the 6 cylinder or just throw one of the V8 engines that I have laying around in it.
