Testing a Jumping Speedometer

Forgot to post this but i was having an issue with a speedo jumping on me at low speeds. I decided to do process of elim and figured out this little trick to bench test the speedo. I got a Q-Tip and put on end into a drill and put the other end of the Q-Tip in the back of the SpeedO housing. You can pull the trigger on the drill and test low mph all the way up to 75 mph (as fast as my 9.6v dewalt would turn) as a bench test. SpeedO was good, Turned out to be the upper cable. Hope this might help someone in the future.
