HELP! Carrier Bearing.
Called up to the O'Rielly's to check into getting a new carrier bearing and they said they had 2 types that would fit my truck (77 C10). One was a slip-yolk and I guess the other was a non-slip or something. Had them put my name on both of them and I will pick them up tomorrow.
1) Which one do I need? I'd rather just pay and pick up one than have to return one later when it doesn't work. 2) Also, I've never changed a carrier bearing before. I can usually look at it and put it back together again but messing with the driveshafts it intimidating. Anyone know how to replace one or any tips? Thanks, Michael
