My NEW 65 !
Heya guys, new to this section of the forum. I built a 68 C10, never thought I would get a nice enough earlier model to restore/mod.. but, as of yesterday, that story changed ! I posted my 1991 GMC (468 big block truck) for sale on CL, and was offered a trade for this 65 Chevy. I went and looked at it and immediately knew this trade had to happen . I pick the truck up Tuesday because I didn't want to drive it home without the new oak flooring installed, and I need to paint it, It has 350/350 drivetrain with .373 rear, vintage air, custom VDO guages, new oak bed with rails, flaming river tilt column, hooker exhaust, power disc brakes, griffin aluminum radiator, I am sure I am forgetting something. I plan on staying with the flat black color, gonna use Blitz Black topcoat to keep the ratrod look. I wanna go with fat whitewalls, maybe some baby moons, a little drop with wide tires, for a nice old school look. Here is the only picture I have at the moment enjoy !
