Found out something interesting..
So, we're doing a rebuild on what we thought was the factory 283 v8 for PJ. We decide to finally run the numbers while its out of the truck. Seems that it is actually a 1975 400 small-block that someone put a 283 intake on. (I'm assuming the PO decided to keep an aftermarket intake and just threw on the 283 intake just to be able to drive it.
We don't have it all torn down yet, so we don't even know if its salvageable yet. This is what we can't figure out. What was built in the Fremont plant in 1975? Terry wants to know as much as possible about it. Posted via Mobile Device
