top hat carb supercharger

i know there's atleast one guy on here running one of these carburetor superchargers, but i just can't track him down to ask a few questions.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/VOR-4GP218-050L/

with 5 lb of boost, i'm not sure if it's even worth the money.

if there's anyone else using one, i would appreciate some basic information just to see if i need to move on from this idea.

of course, is there anything about it that you like/dislike?
what size of engine do you have and the gas mileage?
what CC heads are you running? and cam grind?
what kind of power/torque are you getting?

i've got a 69 c10 swb. it's not my daily driver, but i will want to drive it to truck shows. from oklahoma to tennessee & vegas. that would be about 2,000 mi round trip. gas mileage on a carb'd engine will be tough enough, so i don't want to bring that down anymore than i need to.

anything else you want to say would be cool too.
thanks, daniel
