Wood bed ?s, with a twist.
We are at the point of replacing the wooden floor in numberoneson's '72ss. I have some ?? that could have been answered if the search of this forum was still running.
1. Are the size of the boards listed on 'GMC Pauls' website acurate? 2. Any one install plastic boarding cut to size and use the metal strips? If so, do the dimensions stay the same as wood? This asked because of possible larger exspansion when hot. 3. How do you stained oak boarders keep them looking fresh with out a lot of matainence? We are very close to buying a 4x8 sheet of 3/4" black textured plastic from a local truck bed manufacturer and cut to fit. This so numbersone son won't have to redo things in a short time. Thanks for your time, Steve
