Started hacking out my floor pans. What do you guys think?
Hey guys,
I'm diving in head first and flying by the seat of my pants. I have no prior sheet metal or even really welding experience, but what better place to start? This is my donor cab, I know that down south it would probably be sent to the scrapper but up here in BC we take what we can get! Rucket of Bust! I had to make some patches because my replacement floor pans didn't come close enough to the tranny hump to cover up all of the holes! I have a patch that will cover most of this. I'm still going to have to smash some more steel though The kick pannels are F*&^ed! Amazingly the cab supports are still solid. I have since painted em up with rust mort. You can see the patch pannel that I hammered out running beside the tranny hump.
