Steering wheel vibration

I had the steering wheel tightened because it was very loose, you could really shake the wheel.
The shop did this and they claim to have found that the steering wheel bearing was shot, it was replaced.
Long story short, I have serious vibration when driving at highway speeds 60-75mph also sometimes I hear like a squeaking noise when steering wheel shakes.
Also, has anyone heard of straightening tie rods ends?
They also did this, is it safe?
Any advice on this is greatly appreciated.
