87 V10 TBI Oil Pressure Gauge...

I'm still trying to figure out why my gauge fuse keeps blowing after a few seconds. One thing about this truck is that somebody put an oil pressure gauge in that it's line feeds into the fitting above the oil filter. I have read that the oil pressure sending unit for the gauge is separate from the one on the back of the manifold for the ECM and that it goes in this location. If this is the case, that means that this wire is handing somewhere and could be causing the short. So my question is, where does this wire originate from and what color is it supposed to be? Pictures would be helpful.
