I took the front seat out of my 72 to test fit a new seat I bought a while back. When I bought the truck a couple years ago, I filled half a garbage can with crap from under the seat. I thought I did a pretty good job at the time.
On the plus side, I found $5.83 in quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies, including a Lewis and Clark nickel and several state quarters for the grand children. By the way, if you're going to take your seat out, the bolts holding the back of the seat brackets go back in a lot easier than they came out if you move the seat forward!
