Chrome lockstrip install question...
Which works better...
Install the lockstrip (and gasket) on the glass then rope it all in the opening at one time? OR... Rope the seal and glass in , THEN put the lockstrip in. (yes I have the proper tool) I would think that the second way would be easier to rope it in given the glass will be looser in the gasket, but it sure would be easy to get the chrome corners (rear) fitted ahead of time. |
