Talking It's ALIVE!

Well finally got the ole heap started yesterday and took it for a short spin around the block.

Still have a long way to go to make it driveable but at least now I know it runs.

Swapped out the old straight 6 for a 283 with a powerglide, don't ask me why, it's a long story.

Added an electric fan to cool it down.
Changed out the front end for a 76 GM with disc brakes and added power steering.

Threw in a pair of 05 Tahoe buckets and a Lokar floor shift. Swapped the front grille out for a 61 and will be doing the hood in a couple of weeks.

Still needs some body work, some paint, a set of wheels and tires, need to lower it some.

Might put a heater in it, upholstery and sound deadening and carpet.

Will be changing out the back window for a big back glass. And modify the tailgate to get rid of the chains.

Probably way more than I can think of to do, but thats what comes to mind right now.

Could not have gotten this far without the help from you all.

It is much appreciated and I guarantee I am not finished asking dumb questions.
