Using backup cameras for spotting

So I normally have to wheel alone, nothing treacherous but at times it'd be nice to have a spotter. I was thinking of using this camera kit to spot myself, both screens in the mirror can be active at the same time, with the cameras mounted under the truck to spot my front and rear tires. Any opinions on this?
The cameras have IR for low light situations, and are weather proof.
