Rear frame fuel tank install questions
I am trying to gather parts for my truck to put a tank behind the rear frame rails and get the tank out of the cab. I have done some digging but have not found any posts that go through the instalation of the tank and what all i will need.
I plan on doing the rear marker light filler as seen here http://www.classicheartbeat.com/mark...t_gas_door.htm, so i have that much decided. i need a tank that will fit and look decent. I am worried that the 40 gallon burb tank wont fit with my exhaust the way it is. And it also seems like it will sit much too low? does anyone have any installed pictures? Would a different tank be a better idea? Is this the tank that most use if going with a suburban tank? http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Fuel-Tan...480f4b&vxp=mtr and finally, can anyone point me in the direction of the correct sending unit to use for a carbureted engine? I find a bunch with 4 outlets, but dont think those are correct. thanks in advance.
