Manual Tranmission install question

It's been awhile since I posted anything up on here. Just changed jobs so, I have been busy getting acclimtaed to a new way of doing things. I tried to install my tranmission this morning (with and without the crossmember installed).

If it wasn't for that f'ing e - brake cable, it would have gone it. Would you recommend pulled the motor out and install the tranny or, unhook the e-brake cable and jack it into place from underneath?

It took me about (3) hours to re-install the factpry crossmember before I dropped the motor in earlier this year. I am thinking about using an aftermarket crossmember for ease of use and for my dual exhaust. Any ideas?

Sawpping in a manual tranmission has been no easy task thus far..............
