Fuel lines and 5.3 ?
Alright, so i've been looking to get a 67-72 pick up but i'd really like to have the reliability of a lsx based engine .. So I have some questions. I'm trying to get a budget worked out for what it would cost me.
Fuel line: I've found it to cost about $350 -> $400 depending on if its return or returnless to the stock tank. I'll write out my layout, let me know if this seems correct. Returnless: 20 Ft Braided Feed Line: Tank(Russell#610160 or Russell#612180) -> Hose -> (Russell#670470+Russell#610020)Walbro 255(Russell#670470+Russell#610020) -> Hose -> (Russell#640850+Russell#610020)Wix33737 Regulator(Russell#640940+Russell#610020) -> Hose -> (Russell#640850+Russell610020) Fuel Rail Return Line: Wix33737 Regulator(Russell#640860+Russell#610020) -> Hose -> Not sure how it will return to tank yet. Seen couple ideas. Return Style: 20 Ft Braided? maybe more Feed Line: Tank(Russell#610160 or Russell#612180) -> Hose -> (Russell#670470+Russell#610020)Walbro 255(Russell#670470+Russell#610020) -> Hose -> (Russell#640850+Russell#610020) Fuel Rail. Return Line: Fuel Rail(Russell#640860+Russell#610020) -> Hose -> Not sure how it will return to tank yet. Seen a couple ideas I think what I have here is pretty accurate to what it would be like using Russell AN -6 line and fittings. Also, could you help me get a list of things I should be able to get along with my pullout? I was quoted for 1400 for a 80k mile 5.3 without tranny for complete pullout which included the engine, intake, accessories, manifolds, computer. My list: 5.3l w/ 80k Accessories - Starter, alternator, ? Computer Wiring harness Intake Manifolds DBW pedal if applicable is 1400 a good price for a complete pullout? Is there a cheaper way to run fuel lines? Thanks. |
