Need photo location of vin plate for 72 GMC - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I need some help. After having my 72 GMC for about a month, I just realized that I hadn't seen the VIN plate. I was going through my glove box and found the VIN plate, POP, owners manual etc.

Evidently the plate was removed when the truck was painted several years ago. Now I need to install it in the proper location, but I'm not sure of the exact location. Can some of you post photos of your 72 vin plates for me to determine where to install mine?

I also need to know what are the proper rivets?
