Taking off glue/carpet on cab floor.... Sigh...

I pulled up my carpet to redo my cab mounts and put down dynamat. When I pulled it up I have glue across the entire floor and pieces of the original carpet/ fuzz stuck everywhere. The paint is original on the floor and in great shape so I would rather not take a wire brush to it and tear off all the paint. I know I could prob just dynamat over it but my OCD won't let me!

Anyone use a great chemical to take off sticky/43yr old hardened glue?

Thanks for your time.
