Missing RPO Codes

This might be a good question for Keith.

When I purchased my truck the original sticker with the RPO codes was missing. I learned from restoring a few corvettes that the original build sheet typically could be found hidden in the car from assembly in two specific locations. In addition, they could also be ordered from Bowling Green for many of the years.

Was there ever such a practice with these trucks? I was trying to figure out what was original and what was not as a get deeper into my latest project. I read about the packet that could be ordered from GM but it sounds generic and not specific to the build.

If it matters, from the VIN mine was built in the Flint plant.

Thanks,
-David
