NOS Chrome sport bumper - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Ok so I got my hands on a NOS chrome sport bumper that was never mounted and still has the GM sticker on it. The bumper is straigt but has some minor pitting on it that I discovered later. The way it sits I cant put it on my truck so I have a few questions...

1 Is it worth having rechromed?

2 How much does it cost to have a bumper rechromed?

3 If I dont rechrome it what is it worth?

4 Do I just keep the repop bumper on my truck and store it away?

I will post some pics of it later tonight. Any help, thoughts or comments are appreciated!
