Radio Ideas

So the expensive Custom Audio sound radio burned up in my truck and I really don't want to fork out the $235 to replace it. I'm actually thinking of finding a good looking vintage cassette deck to replace it. Or hanging my FM 8track deck under the dash and using a radio delete. I used the FM 8track in my '66 Charger for several months and was impressed with the quality of the radio. The 8 tracks sound like ass though. I really like the dim yellow glow of the old radios with the tuner needle and the static you get in a lightning storm. The obnoxious bright green glow of the digital display on the Custom Audio radios doesn't fit and is kind of annoying.

Does anyone have any pictures or ideas of radios in there trucks? Any suggestions?

Thanks.
