65truckowner Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2012 Location: mountain view arkansas Posts: 1,320	which 3 speed standard I have two different 3 speed transmissions. One is short with a long tail shaft and the other doesent look like it has a tail shaft but is the same length as the other. Which one is the best? One is out of a 66 and the other out of a 65 both c10s
