Satisfying day working on the truck

I bought a new lock set, that includes both doors, ignition, and glove box. The doors wouldn't open with the keys I got with the truck, so I've had to leave it unlocked for the past month or so since I got it. Also, the passenger window would not roll down at all, and the driver side was very difficult to get up and down. So difficult, I just chose to use the angle window instead.

Anyway, I got the door locks switched out, and they work great and lock the truck now. Very satisfied. I also got the glovebox lock installed. The windows took a lot of patience, and tons of lube. It was like being with a scared virgin for the first time. Lol. Just work it and work it, and eventually it's all lubed up and going up and down. It took a half a can of wd40 I used as a cleaner, and a full can of silicone grease spray, but they both go up and down real easy now.

Still need to do the ignition, and need to put the door panels back on, but I ran out of light.

Bought the parts from Brothers for cheap. The whole set was like 30 something bucks.

I also feel a bit more comfortable that the po who knows where I live can't just get in the truck because its open, or start it up if he still has a remaining key. I doubt he'd do anything, but it just feels better to know its that much more difficult for someone to jack with it.
