75 c10 - removing interior side panels
hey guys. trying to rip out (in tact) my side panels in my 75 c10.
I got the window crank removed, undid the bolts in the arm rest. most of the door lifts free, but it seems stuck and pulls what appears to be extra items with it at the top where it meets the actual window. I stopped pulling up on it due to the amount of force i was beginning to exert. There's a thin black piece that seems to be similar to a type of weather stripping that is keeping attached at the top, though it does seperate. tehre are little metal bracket things attached to it, but not to each other. should i keep lifting up and seperating the two pieces? and if the black stuff comes out, just push it back down? i stopped prematurely just to avoid doing undesired damage. I don't have a picture as this was super late at night when i was attempting this and i had to hit work at 4am this morning, so didnt have light to shoot a pic. if not clear, the bottom/sides seem to come away free. just sticking at the top near the glass. |
