I was thinking about how many have true cold air intakes on their rides. I'd like to see them. I want to see some idea's about what u have fabbed up are bought.
I built mine out of a 90 Caddy air box. I sealed the factory opening up and cut a 4" hole in the bottom of it and used a ninty fitting with 2 couplings from Lowes. I drilled a 4" hole in the radiator support where the voltage regulator would have been but since I went to a alternator with it built into it I had the perfect spot for it. Let's see what you got guy's! ![]() ![]() You can see the sheet metal that I used to fill the factory opening. This shows the flange for the ninty to be installed. Support hole cut. This has the coupling through the support to slip the ninty onto it. This is it mounted. K&N filter installed. Top and intake hose installed.
