Need some help with a drive shaft.

Here's the story. I have a 68 shortbed that I have put a lt1 4l60e combo in. I plan to lower this truck and want to go with a two piece drive shaft. I need some pics of what carrier to use. Mine came with no such thing. The previous owner mounted the horseshoe carrier to a piece of angle iron behind where the carrier would normally be. I have the bracket for the round style carrier. Can someone post a pic of how this might work or any input on how to make this work. Round or horseshoe style, is one better than the other. Need help. I wanna drive this thing!
