I am going to build that exact combo I listed above but it won't be done until I return from Okinawa(my next duty station).
I wouldn't trust any 700r4 or 4l60e behind any motor with some power.
4l80e is the way to go.
Plenty of 800hp big blocks beating up these transmissions

If I'm seeing 200r4s going 8s in regales and still driven street dutie week in week out its good enough for me lol
