CPP towers - which adapter plate?

I am putting a 98 LS1 into a 72 C10 2WD with CPP perches. The motor has some unknown adapter plates that were on it when I bought it. The current plate shares the bottom bolt with the motor mount.

Trying to use these, it sets the motor at 2-3" too far forward - camaro pan hitting front cross member, alternator conflict, and no way the 98' F body manifolds will work (which are supposed to work great).

The adapter plates I've looked at (CPP, Dirty Dingo) take their dimensions based on their relationship to the SBC flexplate and im starting from scratch.

Can anyone with a similar setup let me know what offset I need?

Thank you!!!
