Put on a proper muffler and it's not so bad out the side. It does get annoying at times

number 1) It depends on the person. I mark and tack weld the pieces on the vehicle and pull them off to finish the weld. If I'm in a hurry I do the full thing on the car if the space permits.
number 2) Meh... to each his own.
