refinishing some rally wheels
well, i picked up some rally's, rings, and caps for 80 bucks. they needed refinishing but weren't terrible.
i used scotchbrite abrasive wheels on my drill, a grey to do the work and a red to get in the tight spots. i was very pleased with how fast it removed material. now i'm at a crossroads, the wheels are prepped for painting and i can't make up my mine on whether i want to paint them black or white. if i go black, i'm putting on astro center caps and trim rings. if i go white i'll run chrome caps and probably no rings...but not sure. here is the progress.....
