Leaf Springs: Re-bend or Replace?

$800 for new, plus tax and shipping.

$500 for re-bent, includes hardware and paint.

Is there any life left in the old springs or is the re-bend a sucker's bet? An extra $300 won't break the bank, but the cash could be used elsewhere.

The vehicle is a '59 panel.

thanks
