Tailgate Question
A few months back we picked up a 61 apache for my wife. the truck is in ok condition. Of course pics on Ebay look great. bought it, and the seller delivered it to me on a flatbed 300 miles from here.
Anyway, attached is a pic of her tailgate. A friend of mine thought maybe this gate was covered over with a kit online to give it a smooth look. We dont care for this look, we like the stock look. As anyone here heard of such kit. Maybe if I cut a few welds I can find the stock gate under it. Or I could find a basket case and make it worse. Any thoughts? |
