I have a cab dilemma

I bought a 70 to 72 cab. Well while taking my 67 apart I noticed that above the front windshield is about 1/2" to the drip rail, well on the other cab its about 1". My cab is pretty bad off with rust and the other cab is ready to go.
My question is what would you guys do? Look for a good 67 donor cab or just use the 70 to 72 cab.
