Looking to lower my truck inexpensively.

I posted this in the 47-53 thread, but thought i'd get a few more suggestions here. I'm looking for the cheapest and easiest way to lower my truck. It's a 49 3100 sitting on a 55 chevy frame, straight axle with a 235 engine, 6 lug wheels, ect. Just want to drop it down as much as possible without the expense of swapping frames or bagging it. I looked at the sids drop spindles, but thought i'd ask you guys for any advice.
