Junkyard steering column
Hey,
My tilt steering column on my 80 4x4 silverado blazer fell apart and so Question #1: anyone know if the one I found at my junkyard in a 80 or so 4x4 chev truck fits it? I think it was a cheyenne model. Also, the donor truck's column is w/o tilt. I destroyed much of the upper column around the ignition while removing my old one. The original issue was a stuck ignition switch that wouldn't turn off, and the fact that the whole column spun as you turned the steering wheel. So, I don't have the total length of column wheel to intermediate shaft, but I do have upper shaft assembly of the old one still. Question #2, can I go off that shaft assm length for matching them?
