used suburban tail light lens

Well I bid on a used Suburban left rear tail light lens on ebay and set my limit at 50 dollars including shipping. Just checked my email today and was out bid and the bid is at 68 dollars? Its a used lens and says has some cracks but mounting holes are good. Are they that rare?
Mine are all in one piece and solid just age cracks. I think I am going to get some lens spray paint and use some Led replacement bulbs.
