Exterior Molding? ok to delete?
Heya All,
Huge noob here, so my apologies up front if this is a dumb question or one that has been answered already. I did attempt a search without much luck. I should have my "new" 1969 C10 next week or the week after. Still working on shipping. I can't wait to get her here and decode the "SPID" for more info about her (at least I think that is what it is called from my reading thus far). I have a video from the PO, a friend, and I can tell that she had both upper and lower molding at one time. Thing is most of it is missing. My question is, is it a mortal sin in the "rebuild" to skip the molding. Fill in the holes and go smooth? I think I would prefer the smooth look, but was looking for opinons and insight from folks in the know. I appreciate any replies and I look forward to hanging out with yall. Thanks, Jeff
