Re: El Palomito-My 1964 C10 SWB BBW Fleetside
Steve, I love the new stance and all the upgrades you've managed, and at seemingly good (net) price outlays. That white with alum & chrome trim, bbw, and tinted glass surely flow together nicely. And the work with the 15-year-old makes for priceless memories, from both your perspectives.
I am curious to know what that 'glob' is on the steering shaft about 2.5 inches up from the rag joint. I see the roll pin: if it fastens outer tube on adapter flange to inside original round shaft, it may be stronger to use like a 1/4X20 high-grade bolt--altho' the coupler need not be nearly as strong as we might first think, as not a lot of force/torque is exerted on that connection. Keep up the good work and keep on enjoying the outcomes. Sam |
